The Friends Band

Recorded a smokin big band blues tune. Written by John "Woody" Woodson (lyrics), and John Meggs (music, arrangement, and direction), this Pro-Kerry, anti-Bush song can be heard on the radio, as well as DNC events everywhere. Vocals feature Courtney Smith on verses, and Miss "K" LaDawn with Tina Howell on choruses. Here is a 1 minute taste!

Dan Barron & Soundtailor

have finished there great new CD called

"Trodden Paths"

They have been heard playing the Chicago circuit in clubs like "The Elbo Room", "Wise Fools Pub", and "The Note". They recieved international exposure at the 2005 New York Music Festival (one of the few bands picked out of the over 1,500 that applied). Currently playing in Hawaii, (a real tough gig!). Touring schedules are being plotted for after the CD release (Decemberish 05).

Cedric Gauthier

visited Red Brick to archive and tweak some song sketches last summer for his band "420" back in St. Maarten. They recorded/mixed a bunch down there and sent them to us for mastering. This year they finished the mixes , just in time for his annual migration to Chicago to enjoy our summer only to suffer our winters in St. Maarten. Look for CD release this winter and Chicago bookings summer 05. These tunes have that classic rock energy!

Northern Lights

NORTHERN LIGHTS, Chicago's premier new Gospel group is poised to light-up the horizon of the music industry with its impressive array of artisanship, musicianship and its eclectic sound. didn't know the driver's, or other passenger's name in the SUV with him, and he didn't ask. Nor did he know the terms for which he was being traded to the Iranian secret service to protect him from the Iraqi regime that wanted him dead or alive, He didn't ask that either.

It seemed his music was too nationalistic, too christian, and far too popular with the Iraqi people for the 1973 Baathist government.

The new 6 song release "Boonie Baboona" (eng.= Lullabye) displays wonderful pure melodies and intricate blends of eastern and western instruments.
